Shooting in my own studio? Yes please!

Yesterday was the first shoot in the new studio and it was a success. I'm happy with the outcome, and my simple setup. Just a couple of great strobes and some seamless paper, and just like that I was back in action. It's been a while and I honestly felt a little rusty, but I was able to get right back into my groove. Watch out Stella...

Not letting life get in the way of my passion.
We're all probably a little guilty of this, at least I know I am. Sometimes I fall into a rut due to outside circumstances and unnecessary drama, and it seems that the things I was once passionate about drift off and sail away. Well, not this time. I'm back and I'll be anchored here for a long time.
No looking back, it's full throttle from here on out!
A little about me, I'm not your average photographer. I'm not even fond of that title, I like to think of myself as a "Multimedia Artist," because there are so many mediums and work that I can actually do. Long story short, I like to make things look nice, even when I was a little girl; Barbie had the best and neatly decorated house on the block!
I've drawn, painted, designed and even styled hair, but the most honorable accomplishment was my 15+ years of dedicated service with Lee County EMS, where I served as an Emergency Medical Technician for one of the busiest 911 systems in the country. I retired early to pursue my creative dream of making beautiful photos and doing what I love; all while still making a difference in my community.
A lot of people may think I’m a little crazy for starting a business based on a dream and especially during a pandemic, but if not now, then when? When is it ever the right time? I'm tired of waiting and I'm ready to go all-in and stop talking, and start doing!
